About the Role:
As a SDET / Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions using frameworks such as Playwright framework. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross functional teams to identify areas of automation, build solutions, and drive the executions of end-to-end automation initiatives.
Specific responsibilities:
- Drive the development of new automation tools and maintaining existing automation tools
- Analyze requirements, develop new test cases, maintain existing suite of tests, and implement as part of the manual and automated test executions
- Provide insightful suggestions on tools and strategies to enhance our testing capabilities
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with test automation scripts
- Develop test plans for new automation releases as necessary
- Run automated smoke and regression tests, troubleshoot and report failed tests
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Product team to understand technical implementations and scope of new features
- Communicate defects and verify fixes within each sprint
- Stay up to date with new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Develop and track QA Metrics, communicate to stakeholders

- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in building automation frameworks from ground up
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests using any automation framework. Preference is using Playwright framework
- Experience with Unit, Regression, Integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Demonstrated experience in incorporating test automation within build and release pipelines, streamlining the deployment process and ensuring consistent quality
- Experience with automated testing for web-based APIs such as Rest and web services
- Ability to solve complex automation issues for both backend and Frontend
- Experience in all phases of SDLC and STLC
- Experience with using Bitbucket, Jira, and Xray
- Work independently with little supervision
- Attention to detail, Desire and ability to work in a multi-distributed team environment
- Familiar with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management
Compensation:
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000
Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 10%
