Make Your Mark:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to develop and lead BlackLine's global solution provider marketing program. This role will be charged with activating our network of solution providers enabling them to grow their BlackLine practice.

This role requires a well-versed marketer with a demonstrated history of building and executing strategic marketing plans, campaigns and programs. The ideal candidate has served in an alliance/channel marketing role or similar in a SAAS/Technology organization for 10 plus years, bringing expertise, best practices, and insights to the role.

You'll Get To:

1. Program Strategy Development:

  • Drive a global marketing strategy that activates our network of solution providers enabling them to grow their BlackLine practice.
  • Develop a program with marketing tools, resources and guided practices tailored for solution providers to execute on their own.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the solution provider team, marketing, and regional teams to assure alignment around business strategy, messaging and KPIs.
  • Understand the marketing landscape to include tactics that maximize the opportunity for the partners to create/execute a well-balanced plan.
  • Assure programs and initiatives are adaptable and flexible to be leveraged and/or localized in different regions.

2. Partner Engagement and Enablement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all marketing-related matters.
  • Keep partners active and engaged to drive their own successful marketing programs through quarterly updates, webinars, and trainings.
  • Create one-to-many training programs and resources to educate partners on marketing best practices, tools, and resources.
  • Provide recommendations and opportunities for partners to participate in or leverage such as events, self-serve promotions, third party resources.
  • Understand partner requirements, challenges, and opportunities to effectively support their success.

3. Marketing Program Development:

  • Design and create a program that provides partners access to tools, resources, and training for marketing BlackLine that they can operationalize on their own.
  • Equip the partners with marketing plan templates, recommended tactics and seasonal and/or point-in-time areas of focus.
  • Design and implement turn-key campaigns, kits and programs to drive engagement, lead generation, and sales enablement.
  • Oversee the creation of or adapt compelling marketing collateral, including presentations, sales tools, and digital content, tailored to the partners' audiences.

4. Performance Tracking & Analysis:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness the program and tools.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data insights, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Use internal and market insights to refine partner marketing strategies and identify areas for differentiation.
  • Provide regular reports to leadsership and stakeholders on the effectiveness and ROI

5. Operations and Administration:

  • Manage marketing budget and partner marketing co-fund.
  • Ensure effective allocation of funds and approve and track expenditures.
  • Create efficiencies and automation around co-fund execution.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including solution provider leaders, alliance team, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate on internal joint initiatives to drive mutual success.

What You'll Bring:

  • Years of Experience in Related Field: 10 - 12 years plus demonstrated experience in an

    alliances/channel marketing role, or similar serving a growing alliance/channel partner ecosystem.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system and Marketo or other similar marketing automation platform.
  • Experience working within partner portal platforms or similar partner service tools.
  • 5% travel

We're Even More Excited If You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 10 plus years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of developing successful joint-marketing programs and partner relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use data and insights to inform or build a business case.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build consensus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Salary Range:

USD $143,000.00 - USD $191,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
