Position Description:

Applicants are permitted to work remotely from an at home work site anywhere in the United States

Develops detailed technical specifications and architecture for complex systems using asynchrony concepts - Promises, Observers, Event Loops, and multi-threaded architecture. Builds software features from concept to deployment, as part of autonomous, cross functional teams. Architects and develops multi-tier internet facing Web and mobile applications and Application Program Interfaces (APIs). Manages technology roadmaps and facilitates collaboration across technology partners. Designs, develops, and maintains Node JS and Java/JEE based Web applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment. Designs and develops front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML, and Browser Developer tools. Designs and implements continuous JavaScript environments using Webpack, Grunt, and Gulp. Employs DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery methodologies using technologies -Groovy, Jenkins, and Concourse. Manages data using containerization, Docker, and orchestration. Develops native mobile applications on iOS and Android using Swift and Kotlin. Works with application development using Node.js and Express.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs system analysis of complex business requirements.

Communicates cases, technical specifications, and documents with business stakeholders.

Participates in iteration planning to maintain velocity and deliver quality each sprint.

Participates in problem solving, troubleshooting, performance turning, production support, and maintenance of existing applications and APIs as part of autonomous, cross functional teams.

Designs and develops front-end solutions.

Designs, develops, and supports mobile applications on iOS and Android.

Works toward technology roadmaps and facilitates collaboration across technology partners.

Creates application architecture, and prepares high-level and low-level design documents.

Ensures code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed efficiently and effectively.

Coordinates the delivery of technical components across internal/external technical teams.

Resolves technical roadblocks involving Cloud-based technologies.

Implements Automation Tools and Frameworks.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Full Stack Engineering (or closely related occupation) designing and developing scalable, high performance, secure Web applications using secure protocols and SAFe agile framework.

Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Full Stack Engineering (or closely related occupation) designing and developing scalable, high performance, secure Web applications using secure protocols and SAFe agile framework.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") performing Digital Workflow design and developing new software solutions to help migrate manual to automated digital systems, using NodeJS, ExpressJS, RESTful APIs, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

DE performing full-stack solutioning and development - designing, developing, and maintaining multi-tier internet facing Web and mobile applications - in a fast-paced Scrum environment, using Angular (JS), React, JavaScript, Typescript, and MongoDB.

DE performing priority production incident analysis, review, and resolution for software installation and monitoring functionalities to ensure specifications are met, using Splunk, Datadog, or Service Now tools.

DE delivering, measuring, and iterating features to customers while minimizing risk, using practices (A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles), DevOps Continuous

Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated security and quality testing, modern test and mock frameworks, and service virtualization tools; and performing secure application development.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
