Role Overview
The Global Connectivity Manager (GCM) is part of a global team of seasoned FIX experts. The GCM Team members today bring years of experience from diverse backgrounds (buyside, sellside, and vendor) with excellent relationships among that audience. Their primary focus is to provide white glove treatment to all clients joining the NYFIX network. They manage the complete order to bill process for the NYFIX community.
Exclusively aligned against the NYFIX business, the team internally faces off between the sales representatives and the global operations department. Through fulfillment of their below responsibilities, they in turn help bring in new business, while reducing churn of current revenue.

Responsibilities
Technical Sales Support
Provide Pre-Sales FIX expertise and Build relationships with the NYFIX Client Community consisting of:
- Buysides
- Sellsides
- Vendors
- Strategic Partners
Develop and grow the FIX relationship through:
- Update Client Account Information in SFDC
- Set client expectations and timelines
- Commercial review of channel requests
- Gather client feedback and communicate internally
- Ensure Billing Account setup and channel invoicing
- Field channel inventory and billing questions
- Review NYFIX client connectivity inventory for new deals
Project management of the FIX onboarding for:
- NYFIX Matching (Post Trade Service)
- Order Routing Channels (including IOIs and Advertised Trades)
- Exchange and Execution Venue Connectivity
- Client Migration Projects
- Portal Services
Provide 3rd level business support for:
- NYFIX Matching Channels
- NYFIX Fix Marketplace (FMP) Hub Channels
- Order Routing Direct (ORD) Channels
- IOI/AT Channels
- Drop Copy Services
- Portal Services
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of the FIX (Financial Information eXchange) Protocol
- Customer Facing person with excellent communication skills
- Great organizational and time management skills
- 3+ years in the financial services industry preferred
